FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Q’Straint will hold its sixth annual National Training Seminar at its facilities here in the fall.

The school bus seminar is scheduled for Nov. 18 and 19. Sessions for transit/fixed route and paratransit professionals will be held in September and October.

The seminars are designed for trainers, operations directors or supervisors, and others who supervise or manage wheelchair transportation safety. Attendees will learn how to properly use and operate Q’Straint’s systems through hands-on training that can be passed on to coworkers. They will also tour the company’s facility, view crash tests of wheelchair securement systems and components, and learn about the inspection and maintenance of those systems.

Also covered will be the rules and regulations that govern the testing and use of wheelchair securement systems and information about Q’Straint products needed for writing specifications.

Sessions will be held in the company’s on-site training classroom, known as the “Blue Room.” Q’Straint covers the cost of hotel accommodations, ground transportation and meals during training for attendees.
