A new scholarship will cover expenses for one transportation professional to attend the upcoming National Conference & Exhibition on Transporting Students with Disabilities & Preschoolers.
The American Logistics Scholarship Award will pay for travel, lodging, registration fees and meals not provided during the conference, which will be held Feb. 27-March 4 in Indianapolis.
The scholarship application packet is available at www.eduprogroup.com or by calling (703) 288-4088. Applications must be received by Jan. 15. The winner will be announced on or about Jan. 30.
American Logistics Company Manager Chris Thomas said that offering the scholarship to special-needs transportation professionals is a natural extension of the company’s commitment to excellence in training for its own drivers and managers. “The special-needs conference is all about training, and that’s where we are as well,” he said.
