The Explorer MX4 is a four-channel digital video recorder (DVR). All four channels can record simultaneously. The DVR features dual technology that allows for recording of two information streams — one for high-resolution playback on a PC and the other for real-time viewing over the Web or GPRS network. The system administrator tracks vehicles and retrieves details about an incident using video footage synchronized with mapping software.
