OTTAWA, Ontario — A new product called DriveLogik offers fleet managers tools to improve driving behavior, thereby helping to deliver fuel savings of up to 10%, in addition to savings in maintenance and other areas, according to the company.

DriveLogik, a business division of Deep Logic Solutions Inc., is a $1,999 hardware package and $59-per-month software reporting service that includes driver performance reports to help identify who needs more coaching and who deserves recognition. Customized instant alerts via mobile devices identify major driving events.

DriveLogik begins with the Driver Awareness Panel, an in-vehicle display that provides drivers with coaching to drive more efficiently. It gives each driver visual and audible notifications on critical performance indicators.

Daily, weekly and monthly summary reporting can be customized by driver, by vehicle or by the entire fleet.

Annual scorecard reports can help identify trends and productivity achievements, and the vehicle tracking feature pinpoints lost or stolen vehicles.

Company officials said that DriveLogik can be used on school buses. Fleet managers can estimate their fuel savings with an online calculator at www.drivelogik.com.
