LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A company that operated buses for a school system here, one of which was involved in an accident in June, is ending operations, WAVE 3 News reports.

On Nov. 8, Jefferson County Public Schools announced that it was suspending business with Commonwealth Bus Service until officials could further review the transportation contract, and now, a district spokesperson told WAVE 3 News that transportation officials have been notified that the company is going out of business.
