ANDERSON, S.C. — Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say that a school bus driver had fallen asleep when the bus hit a tractor trailer earlier this week, FOX Carolina reports.

Anderson School District Five Superintendent Betty Bagley told the news outlet that three students were on the bus when the crash occurred, but no serious injuries were reported.

The crash is under investigation. Bagley said she believes a medical problem caused the bus driver to fall asleep.
