LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Ann Tomlinson saw how many motorists were illegally passing her daughter’s school bus, and she decided to do something about it, NBC2 reports.

Holding a “STOP FOR BUS” sign and wearing a safety vest, Tomlinson stands at the bus stop — morning and afternoon — to spread the safety message.

"I can't scream, I can't chase people down, I want to do something that's legal, so I thought, well I would notice someone standing with a big sign," she told NBC2.
