CLARKSBURG, Md. — A school bus driver recently suffered a physical collapse behind the wheel of his school bus, but he still brought the bus to a stop, WJLA reports.

Dustin Mitcham, a high school senior riding on the bus at the time of the incident, told the news source that the driver’s head “sunk over, like he got knocked out.”

The bus careened out of control, but other students on board said that the driver managed to bring the bus to a stop and avoid slamming into a utility pole. Mitcham then radioed for help, and told another student to call 911.
