CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A bus driver who had dropped off his last group of students on Monday pulled over and intervened when two pit bulls attacked another dog, 13 WHAM reports.

David Bliss saw the pit bulls attack a 10-year-old golden retriever while it was being walked by a woman with her grandson.

Bliss was bitten in the hand and had to get nine stitches at the hospital after pulling the dogs apart.
