3 boys charged with school bus vandalism

NEW CASTLE, Del. — Three boys, ages 11 to 13, were arrested and charged with vandalizing school buses in the Advanced Student Transportation bus lot here on Sunday, WDEL reports.

The boys are accused of driving eight buses into one another. Fifteen vehicles were damaged in the incident, and the damage was estimated at more than $22,500.

The buses also damaged three fence gates and several areas of the perimeter fence, and they destroyed a portable toilet, according to police.
