MILWAUKEE — A 19-year-old man, Alex Haskins, died after he attempted to latch onto an open school bus window, lost his grip and was run over, the Journal Sentinel reports.

A juvenile aboard the bus got involved in an altercation with other passengers and called his family to help him. Haskins and other family members arrived; at some point he grabbed onto the window as the bus was pulling away.

Police said that it does not appear that the bus driver knew what was going on, and no citations are expected to be issued.
