American Traffic Solutions (ATS) and AngelTrax have formed a strategic alliance that aims to reduce injuries and fatalities from illegal school bus passing.
The alliance brings together ATS, which provides road safety camera solutions, with AngelTrax, which provides mobile surveillance technology for school buses and other industries.
“AngelTrax has a proven track record and expertise in the school bus safety industry,” ATS CEO James Tuton said. “We’re excited to work with a quality company that shares our commitment to using technology to enhance public safety.”
Officials said that the partnership will enable both companies to leverage core strengths to produce a robust, high-quality product specifically designed to reduce school bus stop-arm running.
Under their agreement, ATS’ turnkey, automated School Bus Stop Arm Enforcement Solution CrossingGuard will be powered by AngelTrax’s IntelliGuard Stop Arm Enforcement Camera System.
