HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Licking Valley Local School District bus was severely damaged and the driver sustained minor injuries when a deer crashed through the bus’ windshield on Tuesday morning, according to a story on NewarkAdvocate.com.

A car in front of the bus hit the deer, which propelled the animal over the vehicle and into the windshield of the bus. The deer went through the passenger side of the windshield and landed seven rows back. Seats were bent in the process, but no students were on the bus.
