COQUITLAM, British Columbia — Seon Design Inc. has introduced the next generation of its scalable integrated mobile surveillance solution for bus and coach fleets. The solution includes fleet management software, a DVR, and video and recorded data management software.

vMax Commander — Seon's fleet management software — automates regular tasks and allows transportation administrators to manage the video and recorded data from an entire fleet. Paired with the Smart-Reach wireless solution, vMax Commander eliminates the need to manually retrieve hard drives, according to the company.

Seon's 12-channel Explorer DX12 is equipped with two hard drives and can record two information streams at once: one for wireless live-viewing and one for high-resolution playback. Using vMax View (the video and recorded data management software), transportation administrators can search by video clip, alarm, or date and time using video synchronized with mapping software.
