A man grabs the 14-year-old girl and tries to remove some of her clothing, but she is able to free herself. The victim then runs home and reports the incident to her mother; detectives are working to generate a composite sketch of the suspect.
CLERMONT, Fla. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a possible attempted abduction here last Thursday in the late afternoon.
Responding deputies learned that a 14-year old-girl was approached by an unknown white male who got out of a white full-size pickup truck at her bus stop. The victim then ran home and reported the incident to her mother.
The suspect is described as having brown hair and a mustache. He is thought to be in his 40s. He was wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, jeans and Timberland shoes.
As of last Thursday, patrol units as well as the sheriff’s office aviation unit and K-9s conducted an area canvas. Detectives are working to generate a composite sketch of the suspect, which will be released as soon as possible.
