WESTFIELD, Ind. — IMMI, which provides school bus seats with lap-shoulder belts, is offering The SafeGuard Summer Exchange program to help school districts replace SafeGuard STAR restraints.

Districts can also replace any brand of vest and other child restraints that were manufactured in 2004 or earlier through the program.

School districts simply need to cut the manufacturing labels from the retired products per IMMI’s instructions and the company will e-mail the districts a $15 coupon that can be applied to the purchase of new SafeGuard STAR restraints from a participating distributor of their choice.

The coupon program will run until Sept. 30, 2010. For further details, click here.

More information about STAR restraints can be found on the SafeGuard Website. A short video that demonstrates how to use STAR restraints can be viewed here.
