In an accident on a Missouri highway, a pickup truck slams into the back of a tractor trailer cab that had slowed for traffic. A school bus strikes the pickup from behind and is rear-ended by the other bus. A girl on one of the buses is fatally injured, as is the driver of the pickup.

The bus had been traveling on the opposite side of the road when they saw smoke coming out from under its hood.
