The SafeDrive MiniDVR (digital video recorder) mobile incorporates a road-view camera and a cabin-view camera and records video, audio and metadata to a removable CompactFlash card. Video is recorded when the vehicle operator is speeding or driving erratically, when the “event save” button is pressed or when a crash occurs. Also recorded and tracked are GPS map coordinates, G-force data, vehicle speed and event trends.
