Seon announces anti-bullying grant recipients

The mobile surveillance supplier selects seven recipients for its anti-bullying grant and The Bully Project Educator’s DVD and Toolkits. Twelve more grant applicants are awarded The Bully Project Educator’s DVD and Toolkits.

On Thursday, Seon announced the recipients of its anti-bullying grant. After reviewing the applications, the supplier based its selection on a number of criteria, including need, creativity, project detail and project reach.

There are seven recipients of anti-bullying grant money and The Bully Project Educator’s DVD & Toolkits. However, because there were so many inspiring applications, according to Seon, the supplier also awarded 12 recipients The Bully Project DVD and Toolkits — these applicants expressed how the kits would benefit their school districts and school bus transportation staff in educating about bullying.

The recipients of Seon’s anti-bullying grant and The Bully Project Educator’s DVD and Toolkits are:

• Voyageur Transportation Services, London, Ontario
• Scott County Schools, Forest, Miss.
• Lisbon (N.D.) Public Schools
• Chesterfield (Va.) County Public Schools
• Gallup-McKinley County Schools, Gallup, N.M.
• Brainerd (Minn.) Public Schools

The recipients of The Bully Project Educator’s DVD and Toolkits are:

• West Carroll District #314, Thomson, Ill.
• James A. Garfield Local School District, Garrettsville, Ohio
• Buffalo Trail Public Schools, Wainwright, Alberta
• Blackfoot (Idaho) School District #55
• Hopkins (Minn.) Public Schools
• Lowell (Mass.) Public Schools
• Lee’s Summit (Mo.) R-7 School District
• Cape Breton-Victoria District School Board, Sydney, Nova Scotia
• Calaveras Unified School District, San Andreas, Calif.
• Capistrano Unified School District, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
