WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Antonio Perez has been named bus driver instructor training program specialist for the Office of School Transportation (OST) at the California Department of Education.

Perez previously served as instructor at San Dieguito Union High School District in Encinitas. He has also proven his pupil transportation skills on the international stage: He has won the transit category in the School Bus Driver International Safety Competition for the past two years in a row.

“Mr. Perez brings a tremendous amount of expertise in the pupil transportation industry,” OST officials said in an announcement.
