NFL ref to speak at NAPT Summit
John Parry, a veteran football referee and former corporate jet pilot, will share lessons learned that have fueled his success at the National Association for Pupil Transportation's annual conference in October.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This fall's National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) conference will feature a motivating presentation by NFL referee John Parry.
Parry, a 13-year veteran of the NFL, has officiated nine playoff games during his professional referee career, including a National Football Conference Championship and Super Bowls XLI and XLVI.
Parry's professional background extends into other interesting areas. He flew corporate jets for 18 years and then went on to build an independent financial services business from the ground up.
At the NAPT Summit, to be held Oct. 19-24 in Grand Rapids, Parry will share lessons learned that have fueled his success. His presentation ties into the philosophies and practices he implemented while preparing to referee Super Bowl XLVI in front of a global audience that included 111.3 million U.S. television viewers.
