SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — School transportation management solutions provider Transfinder will be among the companies exhibiting at next week’s school transportation conference in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The conference, entitled "Shaping Sustainable School Transportation: Policy, Attitude, Action," constitutes the first school transportation conference in the United Arab Emirates. It is supported by a partnership between the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai and the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) in the U.S.

The conference will be held April 21-23. As SBF previously reported, it will include an intentionally small and focused trade show, with about two-dozen vendors.

Transfinder will showcase its routing software solutions in exhibit booth A-13 for the safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of students.

Featured in the company’s exhibit will be a demonstration of its mobile application for accessing and documenting transportation information on an iPad.

"We expect our solutions to be well received in Dubai and are anticipating great interest in our mobile app for the iPad, Infofinder mobile,” said Antonio Civitella, president and CEO of Transfinder. “We operate in a wireless world today, and in major commercial centers of the world like Dubai and even in most developing countries, wireless access is ubiquitous."

Civitella added that Transfinder is “proud to be associated with NAPT and the other companies from the United States in this venture, as the USA is considered the gold standard when it comes to the safe transport of students. Countries from all corners of the globe recognize this and want to learn best practices from us."
