INDIANAPOLIS — A high school student here has raised more than $6,000 to support his goal of getting Wi-Fi installed on some of his district’s buses, WISH reports.  

If Wi-Fi units are installed on the buses, the district will then consider whether to expand the program based on the success of the pilot program.

The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township said in a statement to the news outlet that the superintendent is supportive of the idea, and administrators are working on developing guidelines and regulations for having Wi-Fi installed on the buses.
