GreenRoad to integrate fleet tracking, driver management
The company partners with GPS Insight to offer GreenRoad Advanced Tracking, which officials say will be available by the end of this year. Officials also say that with the combination of driver performance management and fleet tracking in one product, fleet operators will be able to create efficient fleets and maximize driver productivity.
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — GreenRoad has partnered with GPS Insight to provide advanced fleet tracking capability as part of its driver performance management service.
GreenRoad will integrate the GPS Insight solution and offer it to customers as GreenRoad Advanced Tracking.
“As we’ve collected feedback about what more we can offer, we’ve consistently heard requests for integrated, advanced GPS tracking,” said Jim Heeger, CEO and president of GreenRoad. “The comprehensiveness, flexibility and effectiveness of the GPS Insight service are truly impressive. Now, with the GPS Insight partnership, we can offer the tools to also create the most efficient fleets on the road.”
Robert Donat, CEO of GPS Insight, added that GPS tracking is a natural complement to GreenRoad’s driver performance management offering, and that with the combination of the two capabilities, fleet operators will have what they need to maximize driver productivity.
Officials said GreenRoad Advanced Tracking will be available in the U.K., U.S. and Canada by the end of the year.
