Rosco video recorder monitors driver behavior
Officials say the Dual-Vision XC provides more than 160 hours of continuous recording in real time, enabling fleet managers to identify risky behavior before an event occurs. Additional features include a timer for 24-hour surveillance of a vehicle and infrared LEDs for night recording.

JAMAICA, N.Y. — Rosco Inc. recently released the Dual-Vision XC, a low-cost, continuous video recording solution.
Company officials said the more than 160 hours of continuous video recording provided by the Dual-Vision XC in real time enables fleet managers to review video of driver behavior to identify risky actions before an event occurs. In turn, this can help to reduce distracted driving.
Driver feedback is also provided in real time. If a predetermined speed limit and/or G-force setting is exceeded, the driver is notified with an audible “chime” as a reminder to enforce safe driving habits.
The Dual-Vision XC utilizes two cameras in a single enclosure for interior and exterior viewing. Data is stored on a removable Secure Digital card with a security lock. The XC can be integrated with GPS, and video and audio can be easily converted to an .avi file.
Additional features include a timer for 24-hour surveillance of a vehicle, infrared LEDs for night recording and the ability to store an event with before and after video in a separate folder.
