Dossier software training available at annual conference

BURLINGTON, N.J. — The Dossier User Group will hold its annual summit this year in New Orleans from Oct. 23 to 25.
Dossier is the maintenance management software offered by Arsenault Associates.
The conference will be preceded by an optional day of service to help rebuild the city. Those who wish to take part in a day of helping to rebuild New Orleans can arrive Oct. 22 to enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by Arsenault Associates prior to working on a Habitat for Humanity project on Oct. 23.
The Dossier User Group Summit offers attendees the chance to be updated on Dossier, including features added this past year, as well as a preview of future versions. They will be able to select specific topics from a newly formatted 2012 conference schedule and work with Dossier fleet consultants to "tune up" their installations and get the most from Dossier.
“The 2012 Dossier User Group Summit will feature a broad agenda, with coverage on everything from basic program features up through advanced industry topics,” said User Group Chairman Greg Walsh, who is director of maintenance for New World Van Lines.
Dossier User Group members operate large and small fleets in many diverse industries, including trucking, construction, schools, motorcoach, waste, utilities, distribution, food, manufacturing, government and service industries.
According to Bob Hausler, vice president of marketing and technology for Arsenault, anyone who uses or depends on information provided by Dossier software would benefit from the meeting. That includes fleet managers, general managers, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, shop managers, parts managers and technicians.
“The Dossier User Group Summit is the largest collection of Dossier expertise in the world, a huge knowledge and experience pool for attendees to draw upon,” Hausler said. “From a pure dollars and cents perspective, the training part of the event alone justifies the cost. By adding a training day to the end of the meeting, attendees can maximize their return on their travel and time investment.”
Officials said additional details and guest speakers will be announced when arrangements are confirmed.
