THOMASTON, Conn. — Police caught a man allegedly in the act of stealing two-way radios from a Worhunsky Transportation lot on March 3, the Litchfield County Times reports.

Thomas Colby, 45, was stopped by police as he tried to flee the lot. According to a police report, he "was found in possession of burglary tools consistent with stealing two-way radios" and allegedly had radio parts in his pockets. Radios from two other buses were found in a plastic bag in a third bus, where Colby reportedly placed them while trying to make his escape.

Colby was arrested and charged with three counts of second-degree criminal trover and one count each of fourth-degree larceny, possession of burglary tools and first-degree criminal mischief, according to the Litchfield County Times.
