GreenRoad to offer web seminars on reducing fleet fuel use, idling
The series of seminars, which will be held later this month and in October and are geared toward executives, as well as operation and safety directors, will provide guidance on these topics by addressing driving performance.
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — GreenRoad is offering a series of web seminars with guidance on how to reduce fuel usage and idling in fleets by addressing driving performance.
The series is part of a larger initiative at GreenRoad to support the Clean Cities Coalition and to help cities across the U.S. meet clean air objectives.
“Improving driving performance helps save lives and protects our environment by reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions,” said Tanya Roberts, senior vice president of marketing for GreenRoad. “We are committed to helping cities meet their clean air objectives by putting the best fleet drivers on the road.”
The web seminar series will provide insight and practical tips for executives as well as fleet, operation and safety directors. The offerings are as follows:

• Creating Clean Cities: How Your Drivers Can Dramatically Reduce Fuel and Emissions — Thursday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. PDT
• Why Driving Performance Matters to Your Bottom Line: Green Driving ROI — Thursday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. PDT
• Why Even Good Drivers Need Performance Management — Thursday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. PDT
