BURLINGTON, N.J. — The Dossier Users Group will hold its annual summit Oct. 11-14, 2011, at the ACE Convention Center in Lafayette Hills, Pa.

The Dossier Users Group is an organization of fleet professionals whose common interest is their use of Dossier asset maintenance management software from Arsenault Associates.

“In 2011, the Dossier Users Group Summit will be more beneficial than ever,” said users group Chairman Charlie Priscu of New York Container Terminal. “Many fleets are short on budgets and resources in these times. This Dossier Summit will help everyone do more with less by providing information that will translate into very real savings and increased efficiency for Dossier users. It’s the most economical way I can think of to leverage the value of Dossier for quantifiable results on a balance sheet.”

Beyond topics applicable to all Dossier users, this year’s agenda will include three parallel breakout paths, each with multiple sessions. Topics will include user case studies, product applications and futures, and industry discussions.

Moreover, the hands-on training program has been expanded. In addition to a breakout track of training sessions in the meeting program, users can register for optional training modules which will be held the day before the meeting. Officials said these one-hour sessions are ideal for coverage of basic Dossier features.

Dossier Users Group members operate large and small fleets in many diverse industries, including trucking, construction, schools, motor coach, waste, utilities, distribution, food, manufacturing and government.

According to Bob Hausler, vice president of marketing and technology for Arsenault, anyone who uses or depends on information provided by Dossier software would benefit from the annual summit. That includes fleet managers, general managers, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, shop managers, parts managers and technicians.

“The Dossier Users Group Summit is the largest collection of Dossier expertise in the world, and that’s a huge knowledge and experience pool for attendees to draw upon,” Hausler said.  “The training part of the event alone justifies the cost of attending. We know that everyone is watching their time and money these days. By adding the training day to the front of the meeting, attendees can really maximize their investment in attending.”
