COQUITLAM, British Columbia — Mobile surveillance systems provider Seon Design Inc. has released updated versions of several of its high-resolution cameras.

The company now delivers 540 TV lines of resolution as standard in its SA Wedge, SQ and SJ Dome series cameras. Seon has also standardized audio for the SQ and SJ cameras, which now ship with a built-in microphone.

“Seon has streamlined our camera product line to make it more feature-rich, adding more value at a competitive price,” Senior Product Manager Peter Simmons said.

Seon’s selection of wedge, dome, and other specialized cameras are designed for harsh mobile environments. They are vandal-resistant and capable of withstanding vibration, temperature extremes and other rigors of the road.

The indoor/outdoor SA Wedge is dust- and water-resistant. It provides color images in normal lighting and automatically switches to black and white in low-light conditions. With an optional infrared illuminator module, the SA Wedge delivers clear images up to 50 feet away in complete darkness.

Seon’s compact SJ Dome camera allows for easy adjustment of the camera lens to capture different parts of the bus. The SQ version offers the same capabilities as the SJ, but it also includes infrared capabilities, which allows the camera to capture clear images in total darkness.
