GURNEE, Ill. — Two school districts based here will begin sharing their buses and drivers in an effort to cut costs and save teaching jobs.
According to the Daily Herald, officials with Gurnee Elementary District 56 and Warren Township High School District 121 expect the plan to save at least $200,000 combined for the two districts over each of the next five years.
The move may require fewer school bus drivers.
