HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses has introduced a heated driver’s seat, available as an optional feature on its Type C and D buses.

“Whether drivers use the heated seat to increase comfort on cold mornings or to soothe aching muscles at the end of a long, hard day, we know they’ll appreciate this feature,” said Ken Hedgecock, vice president of sales, marketing and service for Thomas Built Buses.

The seat provides dual-zone heating for the lower back and seat areas. A built-in thermostat offers two settings so drivers can choose the level of warmth they prefer. Two carbon fiber heating strips deliver fast, even heat distribution.
