Wheelchair securement module has low-profile design
Q’Straint introduced the Q’UBE, an integrated wheelchair securement module that can be installed or retrofitted in school buses. It has a low-profile design to fit under wheelchair footrests, and it can be permanently mounted to the vehicle floor or installed on transit barriers or seat legs with full adjustability. The Q’UBE features the XPress Mechanical Delay System. An easy-to-reach, single-motion release mechanism has a positive locked and unlocked position, giving the user 15 seconds to properly position and secure the rear of the wheelchair. Self-tensioning and self-locking rear securements with J-hooks prevent the securements from becoming twisted and tangled. The Q’UBE also features retractable occupant belts.
