TORRANCE, Calif. — Attention all school bus enthusiasts: SCHOOL BUS FLEET wants your historical photographs.
In celebrating the magazine’s 50th anniversary over the course of 2006, SBF will run a special series that will showcase shots of a wide variety of old school buses.
Here are guidelines for those interested in submitting photos for possible inclusion in the magazine:
Photos should be of school buses from before 1970.
Submissions should include information about the bus — especially the make, model, year and name and location of the school district or contractor that operated it.
Photos in digital format should be high resolution (at least 2x3 inches at 300 dpi). They can be e-mailed to info@schoolbusfleet.com.
Photos in print form should be mailed to SCHOOL BUS FLEET, 3520 Challenger St., Torrance, CA 90503. Those who would like their photos sent back should indicate so. SBF will make every effort to return those photos in a reasonable amount of time after receiving them.
Submissions will be accepted through October 2006. But the earlier, the better.
