HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Collins Bus Corp. achieved 9001:2000 certification through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The designation was given to Collins, which produces Type-A school buses, for implementing an extensive quality control system of standards and management oversight to the bus manufacturing process.

“We’re very excited, especially for our employees who worked so hard on this project,” Collins President Paul Kessler said of the recognition.

The ISO 9001:2000 designation is recognized globally as a benchmark of quality in the manufacturing industry.
