Joan Corwin, president of Chappaqua Transportation in New York, likes to keep her finger on the pulse of her employees. Or rather on their blood pressure. Corwin, who is a registered nurse, has a standing offer to her employees to stop by her office to have their blood pressure taken. Her employees also feel comfortable coming to her for medical advice. “Most of the time I just reassure them and tell them to call their doctor.”
