With the EPA’s 2010 emissions standards fast approaching, IC Bus in February presented a free Web seminar on technology for reducing bus emissions.

The seminar, which was hosted by SCHOOL BUS FLEETand drew a record number of attendees compared to its previous seminars, featured a panel of experts discussing such issues as how advanced exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) works, EGR vs. selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and how to save money on maintenance and fuel.

To meet the 2010 standards, Navistar’s IC Bus brand school and commercial buses will offer an in-cylinder solution with advanced EGR.
