In the role, he will oversee the human resources, labor relations and benefits function of First Student and First Transit. Young will also supervise the payroll division for all of FirstGroup America.

Young comes to FirstGroup America from Duro Bag Manufacturing Co., where he served as vice president of human resources. Prior to that, he held various human resources leadership positions for the Sara Lee Corp., where he worked for 20 years.
Young is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and resides in Cincinnati.
