BURRILLVILLE, R.I. — Employees at school bus company DATTCO’s terminal here recently helped people in need by donating items to a social service agency, Woonsocket Patch reports.

The seven employees spent more than 230 hours knitting scarves, mittens and hats, which went to individuals and families served by Family Resources Community Action.

In past years, the group has donated handmade scarves to military troops and their families.
