LISLE, Ill. — IC Bus has opened registration for four IC Bus University training sessions. Classes will be held on June 23-26; July 7-10; July 21-24 and Aug. 4-7.

Each session will be held at the IC Bus plant in Tulsa, Okla., and the registration fee is $425, which includes instruction by IC Bus trainers, materials, transportation and lunches. The training sessions are limited to 60 participants per offering.

“By offering this program, we are investing in our customers’ bottom lines by providing technicians with additional education and proficiency with our products,” said Carl Webb, vice president and general manager of IC Bus.

A customer-focused training program for technicians, IC Bus University was developed to optimize service and maintenance proficiency and broaden technician knowledge of IC Bus products.

The program includes a full plant tour of the IC Bus facility in Tulsa and comprehensive information on parts, service and maintenance.

The training sessions are focused on three areas:

• Engines
• Diagnostics
• Preventive Maintenance/Repair Procedures

Since 2008, more than 1,200 school bus technicians have participated in IC Bus' factory training program.
