NRS system designed to help brake pads last longer

TORONTO — Nucap's NRS mechanical attachment system for brake pad backing plates has hundreds of hooks that create a permanent bond with the friction material.

According to Nucap, this mechanical attachment technology holds the friction material better than any adhesive bond.

“Research shows that poor quality brake pad backing plates are a major cause of brake system noise, vibration and durability issues,” said Jayson Keever, Nucap’s director of global marketing. “Our NRS technology was developed to help our customers eliminate brake system comebacks and warranty returns.
