DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec — Micro Bird Inc. has added Onspot of North America's automatic tire chains as a factory installed option at its school and commercial bus plant.
Onspot's technology allows the operator to engage and disengage tire chains at the flip of a switch to enhance traction and reduce stopping distance in snow and ice, increasing the safety of school buses, according to the company.
Onspot is a member of the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services Supplier Council.
