BATTLE GROUND, Wash. — A technician was killed earlier this week when a school bus rolled over him in a bus garage.

The Washington State Patrol told the Associated Press that the incident occurred on Wednesday night at the parking lot for Petermann Northwest, the contractor for Battle Ground Public Schools.

Almaz Kucukovic was performing maintenance on the bus when it started to roll. He was trying to climb on board the bus when he fell under the wheels.

The Columbian reports that he died immediately from head and internal injuries.

Wish I could post a picture right now. A bus has been sitting on 4 jacks with all tires pulled off for a week here. You can see that it is not level and it is outside within access to anyone. What a stupid act of safety. That's just one of the many....but no one seems to care.
