Manual instructs on preventive maintenance programs

WEST JORDAN, Utah — Brad Barker, an ASE-certified master school bus technician and fleet manager, has developed a new maintenance manual titled “The School Bus PM.”

The manual is designed to help technicians create and maintain a first-rate preventive maintenance program for their operations’ fleets to improve productivity and efficiency.

The manual covers preventive maintenance, proactive maintenance and predictive maintenance in 13 easy-to-understand sections, Barker says.

This is a "must-have" resource for any school bus operation. Lots of valuable information concerning school bus equipment maintenance is contained in this manual. It is a very helpful tool in developing and performing a proper PM.
